I've finished your book and I must say I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I enjoyed learning about your own experiences as well as I did learning from your incredibly detailed descriptions of the workings of the South African Paramedic system. Working in the health service as a Registered Nurse here in Scotland I have great respect for our colleagues in the Ambulance Service here and abroad. I was lucky enough to work a shift with our local Paramedics and Technicians during my Nursing training and it remains one of the highlights of my career. From experience I have found Ambulance personnel extremely professional , extremely knowledgeable and extremely good humoured! and I also felt this from reading your book. I remember a quote, from where I can't remember but it was something like - 'ordinary men and women doing an extraordinary job' - and I think this applies to yourself and your colleagues.
Best of luck in the future and thanks again, Neil Anderson.
